Tuition & Fee Schedule

Our tuition and fee schedule is built on a simple structure allowing you to choose the courses that fit your needs and your budget. Upon registration, you will pay a one-time fee for each student. All other expenses are included in the tuition fee for most courses.

K-5th Grade Registration & Fees

At the time of the order, you can indicate which course(s) will be taught by a Sevenstar instructor or the Academy Guardian. Please review the refund policy below.

*Credit recovery courses are specifically designed to allow a student to retake a course he or she previously failed or to improve the student’s grade. These courses provide individualized learning through pre-testing to prescribe content that must be completed to recover credit. Students have up to 10 weeks to complete coursework in this program.

**Placement tests are available for a limited number of courses. Placement tests help determine if a student has the necessary knowledge to succeed in a course before purchasing and enrolling in it. The student registration fee does apply.

Course Materials Fee

Most courses that require a textbook already have the price for the materials included in the tuition. For courses that come with a digital textbook, students will receive login credentials to access the textbook within the first two weeks of enrollment. In limited cases, a link is provided to purchase the course textbook separately.

There may be additional course materials that need to be purchased (e.g., novels, materials for science labs). A detailed list of required course materials is provided at the beginning of each course. This list can be accessed via the course demo accounts. If you have any questions about course materials, please contact us. 


Refund Policy

A student may be withdrawn from a course at any time. Transferring to another course title or switching from Honors to a regular version is considered a withdrawal and is subject to the following withdrawal refund schedule:

*These are calendar days and not business or school days. The start date is the originally requested start date.
**Refunds are not applicable to fees for dual credit courses, registration, course materials, application, or placement tests. There are no refunds for a second semester of a full course withdrawn on Day 25+ from course start date.

FAQs

Can we order just one course or a few courses, as needed?

Yes, Sevenstar Academy is highly flexible to meet your needs. You can enroll in individual courses or select a few courses, whether for part-time study or a more tailored approach. All 1.0 credit courses and above can be purchased for just one semester (Semester 1 or Semester 2), giving you the option to customize your student’s schedule. We are happy to work with families to create the best fit for their educational goals, whether that’s part-time or full-time enrollment.

Do you offer course extensions?

Yes, Sevenstar Academy offers course extensions free of charge within our enrollment policies. Extensions are available for up to 6 months for a 0.5-credit course and up to 12 months for a 1.0 credit course. You may also schedule a course for six months at the time of enrollment, but you cannot extend it for an additional six months beyond that.
