Spanish 3 (Honors)
Grades: 11, 12
Couse description
Dive into the rich diversity of Hispanic culture across the globe by exploring the tastes, sights, and sounds of this dynamic language, which reflects triumph, struggle, celebration, and so much more. During this cultural journey, students improve vocabulary as well as conversational and writing skills through authentic tasks. Short of obtaining a passport, there is no better way to discover new lands, peoples, and experiences. As they expand their knowledge of the Spanish language and culture, students compare myths and legends to biblical writings, discuss the role of the Christian in challenging and changing culture, and discuss biblical perspectives on a variety of topics, such as fear and doubt.
