Couse description
The Elementary Science Grade K course sparks curiosity in students and builds a solid foundation in concepts across many types of sciences, including Earth, life, and physical sciences, so that students can better understand the world God created. Students learn about the five senses, become familiar with properties of sound and motion, and study various animals and plants. A framework of active student learning creates opportunities for students to engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate throughout the course. Students also come to understand how God gives them different skills so that they can better serve Him and others. Students learn that God is faithful to care for His creation, develop a better understanding of the world God created, and learn how to best take care of God’s creation.

In addition to a computer with an Internet connection, most courses require speakers (or headphones); a digital camera or scanner to take photos of completed work; a printer; common household items; and productivity software for word processing, presentations, etc.
