Couse description
Middle School Comprehensive Science 2 is the second in a series of three consecutive middle school science classes. It builds on concepts introduced in the first course of the series, including the disciplines of life science, physical science, and Earth-space science. Reflections on Scripture throughout the course demonstrate how to reconcile various theories and laws with biblical doctrine. Students also learn about young-earth and old-earth theories regarding the age of the earth and understand how to differentiate various definitions and theories of evolution. The course also emphasizes the idea that mainstream science does not necessarily oppose the Christian worldview. In addition, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts as well as various biblical and theological perspectives are integrated throughout the course.

In addition to a computer with an Internet connection, most courses require speakers (or headphones); a digital camera or scanner to take photos of completed work; a printer; common household items; access to research materials; and productivity software for word processing, presentations, etc.
