Teaching Discernment and Biblical Application
At Sevenstar, we believe that teaching students to apply a biblical worldview is essential to their education. Our curriculum integrates Christian faith with academic content in every subject, encouraging students to view learning through the lens of God’s truth and to live with reverence for Him.
We do this by weaving three key biblical themes throughout our courses:
- Creation: We explore the original God-intended purpose of each topic or concept—how it was designed to function in a perfect world.
- Fall: We identify how sin has distorted these ideas or practices, leading to brokenness or misuse.
- Redemption: We consider how these ideas can be restored to reflect God’s design and be used for His glory.
Sevenstar courses intentionally incorporate these themes using diverse learning and assessment strategies. We guide students in applying biblical principles, discerning truth, and engaging in faithful, thoughtful reflection throughout their studies.
Dual Credits
Our dual credit program enables students to simultaneously earn high school and college credits without forgoing the biblical worldview that is central to a Christian education. Research suggests that more than one-third of high school students are now taking courses for post-secondary credit before graduating. For many, it is an affordable way to gain college credit, earn scholarships, and explore Christian colleges.
We are pleased to work with one of the nation’s leading Christian liberal arts institutions to offer a wide array of courses.

Step-by-Step Dual Credit Process
- Courses are ordered and paid for through Sevenstar’s systems.
- Sevenstar facilitates enrollment into the program of choice.
- Students complete their coursework through the chosen institution. These courses are taught by the institution’s professors and facilitated through their learning management system.
- The institution reports the students’ grades to Sevenstar, and we record them in our system, awarding one high school credit in addition to the 3 or 4 credit hours earned at the college or university.
- The college or university provides students with instructions to request official transcripts for transferring to the school of choice upon graduation.
Advanced Placement® (AP) Credits
Advanced Placement® Program
Many nontraditional students seek opportunities to participate in Advanced Placement® courses and testing. Sevenstar Academy offers a wide variety of AP® courses approved by College Board® to ensure that students receive all of the academic training necessary to sit for corresponding AP® examinations.
Although Sevenstar does not administer AP® examinations, students who complete AP® courses through Sevenstar Academy will be eligible to take the AP® examinations and can coordinate with local school districts and systems to register for the corresponding exams.
Demo a Course
We understand how important it is to make sure our online courses are the right fit for your student. That’s why we offer full course demos—so you can explore the structure, content, and layout before making a decision. While demo versions don’t include assessments, you’ll be able to see everything else that shapes the learning experience.
Here’s what happens when you request a demo course:
- For K—5th grade, you’ll receive an email with login credentials and step-by-step instructions to access the selected grade level.
- For 6th—12th grade, you’ll first receive a confirmation email, and then a member of our team will follow up with the login details for your requested course.
Take a look inside and see how our courses support both academic growth and spiritual development.
