Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12

Couse description

In this course, students not only learn about the New Testament and all of its 27 books and letters but also explore how the New Testament has shaped the social, cultural, ethical, and political landscape of Western society today. This course provides an overview of the New Testament within its historical and cultural contexts before exploring the effects it has had on Western ideals and worldviews; its influence on Western law, politics, and government; and its impact on language, culture, and the arts.

In New Testament Survey, students learn about the powerful influence that God’s Word has had throughout history—and are challenged to use the New Testament to further engage and transform their culture.
