Couse description
Who? What? When? Where? Why? How? Journalism provides us with the answers to these questions for the events that affect our lives. In this introductory journalism course, students learn how to gather information, organize ideas, and format stories for different forms of news media. Students also learn to edit their stories for publication. The course examines the historical development of journalism and the role of journalism in society, guiding students in communicating God’s truth faithfully while upholding a commitment to factual accuracy.

In addition to a computer with an Internet connection, most courses require speakers (or headphones); a digital camera or scanner to take photos of completed work; a printer; common household items; access to research materials; and productivity software for word processing, presentations, etc.
